What does it take for inspiation to strike? I have at the moment found it hard to get out my watercolours and paint, drawing, well I can't stop, I just can't put down my pencil and draw. I have just found it hard to get an idea for a watercolour, I have had ideas but just can't get that idea on to the paper. I even went out to get some more watercolour paints, but I got involved in things at home and ended up not painting. I have often wondered how other people manage with the lack of get up and paint. This is so frustrating, why can't I paint? I want to but can't. I will get there, I have plenty of idea, maybe drawing the ideas out first and then I will be able to paint.

sometimes it happens to me too. Thats the time you do it just to work it through
I get it all the time. These are the times I sit back and listen to my music and get into other things that inspires me.
It should be a good idea to sketch things out before you paint. Just sketch, don't even think about it. Learn to loosen up before you get into anything big. It helps :D
