A surprise

I went out on Sunday to do some shopping, and as we returned to the car, Ed my husband happened to spot something moveing near our car, to look at it looked like a small bundle of fluff, it was only as we walked towards it that it moved we saw it was a small bird. I recognised it as a Zebra Finch, and after a short chase we managed to catch it. I then put it in a small box and wondered what to do with it, we had idea where it had come from, so we headed for the nearest pet shop tobuy supplies for our new family member. When we got home we set up the cage for him and my son came up with the name Jim. 

Once his cage was ready and located safley, we introduced him to it, at first, understandedly he was a little stressed, however he soon found the food and water and tucked in for a good feed, so far he seems happy here, and we are going to bring him up along with out other pet, a cat. I now have another oppourtunity to draw animals, a bird,  another learning experiance as I havn't done that before. I hope he will settle in well, and become more used to us and become reasonable tame. I plan to post pictures of him when I have drawn them.
