Watercolour Painting Lessons

I first went to watercolour lessons this time last year, but after a while I had to stop. I have now started to attend them again, my tutor is really good, her name is Caroline Strong, Caroline explains and demonstrates how to paint in an easy to understand way, but makes sure that we work in our own style. I think now that, with practise and a bit of hard work I should soon be able to paint confidently again.

I went to my first lesson this morning, and came home full of ideas, we were studying leafs and
how to mix greens, and has helped me loads, mind you I
do like painting small and detailed objects, so I am now on a hunt for small leaves to paint. When I can I will post some pictures. I think that to
give you a taste of things to come I will show some of the resources I have collected.

I have just looked at all your blog. I am so glad I am able to help you at my watercolour classes. I really like your coloured pencil drawing of the boy at the seaside, well done and I like the lighthouse painting especially the sky.I hope that over the following few weeks you will post some watercolours on this blog. Keep up the good work.
