Why a blog?
I have a friend called Larry, he like me suffers constant pain and other illnesses, I to have to manage my depression. I agree with him that sometimes you do get people who talk behind your back, I was a member of an art community, which was for at the time a first as I had only just begun my re entry into the world of art, the site was ok, I learnt a lot and made many new friends, some of whom I still have. Then as the site grew and grew, some people started to fight with others, others would post bad comments about work or in some cases moan about the fact that part of picture had been traced before being finnished. This led to some leaving the site, which I decided to do, my account is still open, but I now prefer to stay and work on my blog, the loyal friends I do have, have helped along the road to becoming a reasonably good artist, and as my doctor says, its done a power of good. I have found art relaxing and as any one who knows me will say, I don't like to be bored. I know that this is the sort of post you place at the start of a blog but, well I wasn't ready then. So here I am, and why I started this blog.

Karen it's good to leave places like that mate and stay where your treated right. Just never stop art because of it. Thats what is important. Your art has come so far and I feel it will go much further with all the hard work your putting into it mate. Keep up the good efforts and keep growing as an individual and an artist.

I agree with Rose. I left that place also, not for just the fighting, but cause I was really a fish out of water.
I have found that art is great therapy. Blogging is also a great way to relax.
