Who's a pretty Polly then

I started an acrylic abstract parrot yesterday as you will have seen, well, its finished at last, I finally started to add the final touches to it at 5.30 am as I couldn't sleep thanks to the cat! Well here it is and I hope you like it. Let me know. I am not sure how this painting will go down with you, I am still trying to find my own personal style and this is one of my trial works. I thought that while trying new ideas I would have a go at a small exercise I read in my art magazine, this showed you how to paint butterfly's.
